Kate Middleton may be used to having all eyes on her when it comes to her stylish attire, but yesterday she had to settle for second place.

Her adorable daughter Princess Charlotte was the talk of the town in her £74 baby blue dress from Pepa & Co. She teamed the summer dress with a dark blue cardigan from Spanish brand Mi Lucero.

Blue sandals and a matching clip to pin back her locks completed the look.

Mum Kate donned a cream £300 See by Chloe dress and an pair of Monsoon wedges.

And while William and Kate have touring the country over the past few days, yesterday’s event was hosted in honour of Princess Charlotte and Prince George in Canada.

The two youngest royals took centre stage at the gardens of Government House in British Columbia on Thursday.

Both Charlotte and George seemed to lap up the attention with the little princess, just 16 months old, uttering her first word in public.

At one point she run over to a balloon sculpture and declared ‘pop’.

Meanwhile Prince George, 3, enjoyed a Shetland pony ride under the watchful gaze of dad Will.

The children were treated to a petting zoo at the event, with Princess Charlotte taking special interest in a dog, while Prince George was captured gleefully blowing bubbles.
