Qld bikie raid finds drugs and weapons

Police have charged three people with weapons and drugs offences after a raid on a bikie associate's Gold Coast residence.

Officers from Taskforce Maxima found guns, cash, ice and drug-making equipment at the Upper Coomera property on Wednesday morning.

"Outlaw Motorcycle Gang members and associates continue to be arrested on a regular basis for serious weapon and drug-related crimes," Detective Inspector Phillip Stevens said.

Police charged a 56-year-old man, who is allegedly a Lone Wolf associate, with several weapons and drugs offences and he is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on Thursday.

A 40-year-old man was charged with drug possession and possessing drug utensils and will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on October 12.

Police also charged a 33-year-old woman, who is due to face Southport Magistrates Court on September 30.
