Qld boy, 6, burnt in campfire accident

A six-year-old boy suffered burns to his face and had to be airlifted to hospital after a campfire accident on Queensland's Fraser Coast.

The boy had been camping with his family at Harry's Hut in the Great Sandy National Park, when mentholated spirits were accidentally spilt onto the fire.

He was airlifted to Brisbane's Lady Cilento Hospital to receive treatment for burns to his lower face and mouth.
