A CFMEU official will face court over a cancelled concrete pour on a Brisbane construction site.

The Fair Work Building and Construction alleges Michael Myles took unlawful industrial action when he lead employees from the site at RNA showgrounds in January 2015.

FWBC claims Mr Myles incorrectly told the site management at a meeting a week before the walk off, the tiling company they had engaged did not have an approved Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.

Mr Myles allegedly made threatening remarks to the effect of "what will it cost you if the job is shut down?"

When Mr Myles was approached by the site manager after the walk off, he allegedly said the employees had left because they weren't happy with the tilers.

A case management hearing is due to begin on November 24 at the Federal Court in Brisbane.
