Qld cop stood down over false complaints

A Queensland police officer has been suspended amid domestic violence allegations and claims he made false complaints.

The 46-year-old male sergeant is a member of the Legal division of the Queensland Police Service.

"The officer is subject of an investigation concerning allegations of making false complaints to external organisations and allegations of domestic violence," Queensland Police said in a statement on Monday.
