Two men have been charged with links to the Bandido bikie gang after a police search allegedly uncovered weapons and drugs in Brisbane's north.

Officers say they found meth and GHB, a sawn-off shot gun and a cricket bat converted into a mace at a Albany Creek residence on Thursday morning.

Detective Inspector Phillip Stevens of Taskforce Maxima said the search was intelligence-driven.

"Those offenders with links to the criminal networks associating with bikies will continue to be targeted by Queensland Police and Taskforce Maxima," he said.

The two men, aged 47 and 48, are due to appear in Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on October 5 on numerous drug and weapons charges.

Investigations are continuing.
