Three people have been arrested after they allegedly punched, kicked and pushed Queensland police officers who were trying to break up an early-morning pub brawl west of Brisbane.

Police responded to reports of a fight at an Ipswich address around 1.30am on Sunday.

While a male senior constable was attempting to arrest a man, a woman allegedly tried to pull him to the ground and punched him in the back of the head.

The 22-year-old then allegedly struck and kicked a female constable as she was being arrested, also damaging a police radio.

Police were attempting to move another woman away from the area when she allegedly pushed a female sergeant backwards.

The officer, who fell backwards and hit her head on the pavement, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The second woman, 35, was charged with two counts of seriously assaulting police and obstructing police.

The younger woman was charged with two counts of seriously assaulting police, obstructing police and damaging police property while a 28-year-old man was charged with public nuisance and obstructing police.

The trio will appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on December 6.
