Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has the highest satisfaction rating of all her interstate counterparts, according to Newspoll.

A poll published in The Australian today suggested NSW Premier Mike Baird's decision to ban greyhound racing following the live baiting scandal has badly impacted his satisfaction rating, which fell from 61 per cent last December to just 39 per cent.

Mr Baird's tumble means Ms Palaszczuk's satisfaction rating of 44 per cent leads the nation, ahead of Victoria's Daniel Andrews on 43, South Australia's Jay Weatherill on 42 and Western Australia's Colin Barnett on 33 per cent.
