Three family members have been charged over the death of a Perth man who went missing almost a month ago and was found buried in his backyard.

Matthew Kyle Fisher-Turner was last seen on October 1 and friends reported the 24-year-old missing on October 17.

Police discovered Mr Fisher-Turner's body buried in the backyard of his Parmelia home on Thursday night.

Ernest Albert Fisher, 65, has been charged with murder, while 26-year-old Joshua Douglas Fisher-Turner and 19-year-old Hannah Jayde Fisher-Turner have been charged with being accessories after the fact to murder.

The trio appeared in Rockingham Magistrates Court on Friday but were not required to enter pleas.

They were remanded in custody and are due to appear in Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on November 30.

Acting Detective Inspector Peter Clements told reporters the three accused and the victim lived in the house and were related, but would not confirm their relationship.

"We will allege that Mr Fisher-Turner was murdered on or about October 1 this year where he was last seen at that home address," Det Insp Clements said.

He said the investigation was ongoing but would not comment on whether there was a history of domestic violence at the house.

Det Insp Clements also refused to comment on any injuries Mr Fisher-Turner may have suffered.
