Robbie Williams will make a star appearance at the upcoming ARIA Awards.

The British singer, who will be in Sydney to promote his latest album The Heavy Entertainment Show, will make a pit stop at the awards ceremony.

Fellow international star Justin Timberlake will also be in town to promote his upcoming animated movie Trolls.

Timberlake has not yet been revealed to be making an appearance at the awards ceremony, though his Sydney premiere will take place three days before and ARIA Awards organisers have said more performers will be announced.

On top of the British singer's international star power, the soon-to-be inducted ARIA Hall Of Fame recipients Crowded House have been announced as performers at the event.

As the awards ceremony celebrates 30 years, so does the seminal Australian/New Zealand band who will be celebrating with four sold-out concerts on the Sydney Opera House forecourt in the days following the awards ceremony.

The line-up on Australian music's night of nights features an array of local talent that cover the awards ceremony's three-decade life span.

Australian legends Bernard Fanning, Jimmy Barnes, Missy Higgins and John Farnham are all lined up to perform alongside electronic trailblazer Flume, hip-hop star Illy and precocious singer/songwriter Troye Sivan.

Flume, Illy and Sivan are among the most nominated on the night with 11, seven and six nods respectively.

Flying the pop music flag will be performers Jessica Mauboy and The Veronicas who both lit up the stage at last year's awards ceremony alongside vocal powerhouse Tina Arena.

Up and coming indie/folk singer Vera Blue will also take to the stage on the night along with Aussie rockers Violent Soho.
