Ronda Rousey turns off critics in rousing promo for UFC 207

Ronda Rousey literally turns off critics like Stephen A. Smith in a bad-ass new promo for her comeback against Amanda Nunes at UFC 207.

Rousey has been in virtual seclusion since losing her bantamweight title belt to Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November2015.

But the rousing new promo for her return to the octagon brings back memories of "Rocky," according to TMZ Sports, which posted the video Wednesday night.

The 3:21 videostarts with scenes ofRousey alone ina glass and chrome house in the Hollywood Hills. She listens tovarious talking heads discussing her fall from theUFC's biggest star to recluse.

Staring out over the hills, she comes to a decision. She walks into a room where Smith is saying she lost her "mystique" on ESPN2's "First Take."

She turns off Smith with her TV clicker. Rousey has regainedhas the eye of the tiger.

We see the 29-year-old ex-champ up before dawn, punching, sparring and training.

She does wind sprints through bare hills and pushes herself to the limit in the gym. At one moment, she pauses to portentously circlethe Dec. 30date of her match with Nunes.

The UFC has a TV deal with Fox Sports, not ESPN.

The promotion throws a little love at its TV partner with an audio clip of UFC boss Dana White announcing Rousey's comeback to FS1's Colin Cowherd.

It's a great promo. If you weren't excited by Rousey's comeback, you will be by the end of this video.
