Legislation to reduce red tape for South Australian businesses will be introduced to state parliament.

The Simplify Day Bill proposes more than 40 changes to fees, licences, permits and other charges and will come before the parliament on Tuesday.

Assistant Treasury Minister Chris Picton says the state government wants owners to put as much time as possible into growing their businesses not going through unnecessary red tape.
