The $800,000 winning ticket for the October 1 Gold Lotto draw - purchased from The Lucky Charm Allenstown newsagent in Rockhampton - has yet to be claimed.

Golden Casket's Belinda McDougall has urged all players to double check their tickets for the winning numbers.

"It might be a good time for Saturday Gold Lotto players to have a hunt around the house for any entries that may have gone astray or been forgotten," she said.

The winning numbers were 35, 6, 26, 14, 22 and 37 with the supplementary numbers 31 and 10.

Queenslanders have up to seven years to claim their lotto prizes, with Golden Casket still searching for two other division one winners who have even bigger windfalls waiting for them.

A winning ticket from January 2014 worth $2 million was purchased from a NewsExtra in Cairns, while a Morayfield newsagent sold a ticket now worth $1 million from a June 2015 draw.

A timely spring clean could well be worth it.

"We're all guilty of shoving that pile of papers in a drawer or cupboard in a quick tidy-up so the winning ticket could be just waiting for rediscovery," Ms McDougall said.
