FAST FACTS ON ROYAL CARIBBEAN'S OVATION OF THE SEAS

- At 348 metres long, the ship if stood upright is the same height as Uluru and almost 40 metres taller than Sydney Tower.

- She is 41 metres wide, double the length of a Sydney train car.

- At 92 metres high, the North Star aerial observatory capsule is higher than a Sydney Harbour Bridge pylon.

- With a capacity of almost 5000 guests and 1500 crew, the ship can hold a larger population than the NSW towns of Yamba, Bega or Glenn Innes. When in dock, she is Australia's largest hotel.

- With four bow thrusters with 4694 horsepower each, she has more than four times the power of The Ghan. Ovation of the Seas can cruise to speeds up to 22 knots.
