The teenage, who cannot be named, did not appear at Parramatta Children's Court on Thursday and his lawyers did not apply for bail, which was formally refused.

The maximum penalty for the offences is life imprisonment.

The teen was arrested on Thursday morning along with 25-year-old Mehmet Biber during a string of raids by Australian Federal Police and NSW Police across Sydney's southwest.
