There are fears for the welfare of a teenage girl who's gone missing in Sydney's south.

Cassie Olczac, 16, from Sylvania, was last seen about 6.30pm on Sunday after getting off a southbound train at Banksia railway station to catch a connecting train to Hurstville.

It's unknown whether she arrived there and police are calling out for witnesses or anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
