The Bachelor reject Nikki Gogan's unlucky search for love: 'Guys aren't coming anywhere near me'

'Bachelor' finalist Nikki Gogan © Network Ten 'Bachelor' finalist Nikki Gogan If Nikki Gogan's consolation prize after being dumped by Richie Strahan in last season's The Bachelor finale is a shot at being the next Bachelorette, the assignment couldn't come quickly enough.

The 28-year-old real estate agent from Perth has told OK! magazine that life after being denied that final rose hasn't involved much romance - well, any romance.

"Guys are not coming anywhere near me," she said.

"Even some of the Bachelor girls are like, 'Oh Nik, you'd just be getting guys flat out,' and I'm like, 'No, no, I'm not!'" #SadFace

That could all change, though, if she follows Georgia Love to become the third Bachelorette next year. If she does, hopefully, she will have more success than Bachelorette No. 1 Sam Frost, whose split with Sasha Mielczarek was confirmed at the end of last year.

Nikki's romantic status comes as a bit of surprise, considering the fan uproar when Richie chose Alex Nation over her. For a brief moment, he took over Bachelor No. 2 Blake Garvey's status as the most hated man in Australia. (Proposing to Sam Frost and then suddenly dumping her will do that to your reputation.)

Some even suggested that Nikki and fellow reality TV alumnus Cameron Cranley, one of Bachelorette No. 2 Georgia Love's castoffs, should become a duo.

Both are based in Western Australia, and they watched October's The Bachelorette finale together. They even mingled and flirted at the Flemington Racecourse during Derby Day. But apparently, nothing has come of it.

Hey, if Nikki does become the next Bachelorette, maybe Cameron can once again vie for the final rose.
