The Chase is facing fresh fix claims after a celebrity special in the UK left fans infuriated.

People tuning into the celebrity special - presented by Bradley Walsh - were frustrated after watching Jennifer Metcalfe, Michael Parr and Billy Turnball beat Shaun Wallace aka the Dark Destroyer.

Although the trio of famous faces were playing to win money for charity, viewers thought they didn't win the cash fairly and accused the chaser of deliberately answering questions incorrectly.

Within moments of the programme airing, fans were quick to take to Twitter to vent and slam the show as "fixed".

"#TheChase Every celebrity version the chaser seems to deliberately go wrong. If I was a conspiracy theorist I would say #fix," tweeted one.

Another then posted: "In my humble whiney opinion, I think that programme #TheChase is a bit of a fix. Chasers questions are ridiculously easy,

Shortly afterwards, a different viewer commented: "How unusual! The celebs won. Why does it make me so angry? We all know it's fixed #thechase."

Some fans felt tonight's questions were easier than those put forward to non celebrity contestants - probably because they included "What dieting mantra was popularised on the reality show The Only Way Is Essex?"

On the bright side, at least the celebrities walked away with £18,000 for their chosen chair ties which included Sheffield Children's Hospital and Bowel Cancer UK.
