Three dead after Vic road crashes

Three people have died in separate crashes in Victoria in one day, pushing the state's road toll to 246.

A woman died when her car left the road and crashed into a tree in Marong, near Bendigo, about 12.20pm on Wednesday.

Earlier, a woman died after a truck and car collided in Mildura about 9am and a motorcyclist was killed when his bike collided with a car in Tyabb about 6am.

The man is the 46th motorcyclist to die on Victoria's roads this year, 20 more than in the same period last year.

The road toll of 246 is 26 more than this time last year.
