The mother charged over the death of Queensland toddler Mason Jet Lee will make a bid to be released from custody before Christmas.

Anne Maree Lee is one of three people charged with the manslaughter of her 22-month-old son, who was found dead at a Caboolture home, north of Brisbane, in June.

Lee, who has been in custody since her arrest in late July, has lodged an application for bail, which is set to be heard on December 13 in the Brisbane Supreme Court.

It is alleged Lee and her co-accused, William Andrew O'Sullivan and Ryan Hodson, failed to provide medical treatment to Mason, who died as a result of inflammation from a ruptured small intestine.

Last month O'Sullivan was denied bail in the Supreme Court while Hodson was released from custody in August.

Four child safety workers from the Caboolture Child Safety Service Centre were stood down in November pending an ethical standards investigation over Mason's death.

Another nine staff members face disciplinary proceedings.
