Two men have been winched to safety after separate biking incidents in remote parts of Victoria.

A man in his 60s suffered pelvis and leg injuries when he came off a motorbike on a steep dirt track at Timbarra in Gippsland on Sunday afternoon.

Paramedics were also called to help a man in his 40s who came off his mountain bike and landed heavily on his face and shoulder in remote bushland at Mirimbah near Mount Buller.

Both men were airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition.
