Two stabbed in Townsville disputes

A man and a woman have been stabbed in separate domestic violence incidents in Townsville.

In the first, a 31-year-old man was stabbed in the chest with a pair of scissors in suburban Railway Estate on Thursday afternoon.

He has serious injuries including a collapsed lung but is expected to live.

A woman, 25, will face court on Friday charged with wounding.

In the second incident about 2am on Friday, a woman was stabbed and cut in a domestic dispute in Mundingburra.

She suffered a stab wound to her hand and a cut on the face.

A man, 37, will appear in court on Friday charged with unlawful wounding, deprivation of liberty and breaching a domestic violence order.
