A brawl involving more than 20 people has ended with two teenagers injured and a third charged in Sydney's southwest.

The fight broke out about 1:30am on Sunday on Restwell Street, Bankstown, involving about 24 people, police said.

A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were both treated for head injuries at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in stable conditions.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested after the fight and later charged with affray and breach of bail.

He is expected to appear in a children's court later on Sunday.

Police say the reason for the fight is not yet clear.
