WEEK TWO OF THE AFL FINALS AT A GLANCE

RESULTS

* Semifinal: Western Bulldogs 16.11 (107) bt Hawthorn 12.12 (84)

* Semifinal: Sydney 18.10 (118) bt Adelaide 12.10 (82)

THE WASH-UP

* The Western Bulldogs advance to a preliminary final against Greater Western Sydney at Spotless Stadium and Hawthorn's tilt at a historic fourth flag in succession is over. Sydney set up a preliminary final against Geelong at the MCG and Adelaide are eliminated in the second week of the finals for the second year running.

INJURIES

* J McVeigh (Syd, calf), G Rohan (Syd, knee), D Talia (Adel, leg), J Lever (Adel, ankle).

TRIBUNAL WATCH

* Adelaide's Sam Jacobs was the only player reported over the weekend, for rough conduct for his bump on Ben McGlynn. Any suspension will be served at the start of next year's home-and-away season. A few Bulldogs will be lighter in the pocket after a melee broke out at halftime against the Hawks at the MCG, but no suspensions appear likely.
