WHAT BISHOP ALFRED HOLLAND DENIED AT THE CHILD ABUSE ROYAL COMMISSION:

* Being told that priest Peter Rushton was arranging for pedophiles to have access to boys at St Alban's Boys Home

* Being told by an assistant priest that Rushton had abused his five-year-old son

* Knowing that priest Stephen Gray, who he wrote a character reference for, was charged with sexually molesting a juvenile

* Any knowledge of Anglican youth worker Jim Brown who was sentenced to 20 years for assaulting 19 boys

* Any knowledge that his legal adviser Keith Allen intended to recommend for Holland to tell the commission he could not recall anything
