So who is the man likely to be NSW's next deputy premier?

- Has held the seat of Monaro for 11 years, on a tiny margin of two per cent.

- Departing Deputy Premier Troy Grant is a family friend, and became Mr Barilaro's daughter's godfather earlier this year.
