A woman has been arrested for pushing over a fence in the latest day of protests that have been running for more than a week at the controversial Perth Roe 8 highway extension site.

There have been at least 10 arrests and a greater number of move-on notices as opponents call for the protection of the Beeliar Wetlands, where preliminary work has begun for the WA Liberal-National government's $1.9 billion Perth Freight Link.

Opponents say the highway will impact the environmentally sensitive wetlands, with a High Court challenge due to be heard on Friday.
