Woolies may walk from SPC Ardmona deal

The coalition government committed $22 million to save the Shepparton fruit company in 2014 but Woolworths is reportedly considering walking away from the SPC deal.

"Woolworths needs to honour their contracts, everyone in this arrangement needs to honour their contracts," Liberal leader Matthew Guy told reporters on Tuesday.
