Paige was suspended for 30 days on Aug. 18 and the company announced Monday that she has been suspended 60 days for a second violation effective immediately. WWE does not specify the cause of suspensions. A third violation would mean termination of her contract.

Paige responded after the suspension was announced on Twitter: “Kids..Please don't get prescriptions or doctors notes. Not acceptable. … Rules apply depending on your status."

Paige said last month that her initial suspension was not because she failed a test, but because of a “procedural issue.” She said she was not home at the time of test, drove 200 miles to complete it but missed the deadline set by the administrator.

Paige — real name Saraya-Jade Bevis — has not been in the ring because of a neck injury. She posted on Twitter on Sept. 29 that she had seen a specialist who provided two surgery options. “Time to get the neck fixed so I can come back and kick some ass.”

Her WWE future was the subject of rumors when her August suspension came on the same day as boyfriend Alberto Del Rio’s. He and the company have since agreed to his release and Del Rio was in the news last week after he said he was stabbed at the San Antonio airport, causing him to miss a show in Mexico.

Paige, 24, won the then-WWE Divas championship in her main roster debut in 2014.
