You'd think homeowners would learn: Blaze

Interior designer Shaynna Blaze says she's just as baffled by the clueless homeowners on the show Selling Houses Australia as the viewers are.

Filming the tenth season of the Foxtel renovation show alongside host Andrew Winter and landscaper Charlie Albone, Blaze admits many of those struggling to sell their homes are actually fans of the show themselves.

"You'd think after so many years (people would learn)," she told AAP on Saturday.

"A lot of them say we're you're biggest fans and then Andrew goes, 'well obviously you're not actually watching the show'."

Having completed more than 70 makeovers for struggling homeowners with the show, Blaze says she's begun to understand what is causing the problem.

"I think it does come down to that human nature where if you live in the space for long enough the blinkers just go up and you assume the world would love it as much as you," she says.

"A lot of people place the memories they've experienced as the price ticket."

As well as shooting Selling Houses Australia and being a judge on The Block, Blaze is also completing Deadline Design - a new show where she delivers dream renovations for real life clients under a strict deadline.

Out of the three shows on air at the moment, Deadline Design is proving the hardest for Blaze.

"Some of these projects in real life I would have done in maybe over six months," she says.

"So we're doing it very quick."

With such a demanding schedule, Blaze still managed to make an appearance at Flemington Racecourse on Stakes Day.

A more casual day than Melbourne Cup day, Blaze was taking it easy at the Emirates marquee, enjoying one of the four-course sit down meals on offer with a friend.
