Instead, the 23-year-old pop star impresses his girlfriend with his culinary skills.

In an interview with the Evening Standard Magazine, Malik opened up about his relationship with the model and discussed what he likes to cook for her. When it comes to his repertoire, the former One Direction star sticks to the British classics.

"Steak and potato pie, Sunday roast dinner and Yorkshire pudding," Zayn said when asked what he makes. "Yeah, she likes a good Yorkshire pudding."

It might be difficult to imagine the Victoria's Secret star tucking into a hearty roast, but it's not the first time Hadid's love of British foods has been disclosed. In a previous interview with the magazine, the model shared her particular favourite.

"I'm loving Heinz baked beans in the morning, yeah and Z cooks a lot," Hadid said in September. "He makes a brilliant curry. Butter chicken is his signature dish. Don't worry - he's representing good for the British boys!"

It sounds like the couple, who have been dating since December 2015, are pretty loved-up, and according to Malik, they spend all their spare time together, either in LA or New York.

Malik goes on to describe Hadid as a "very intelligent woman" and says he admires her confidence.

"She knows how to carry herself," he added. "She's quite classy and that. She's not, like, arrogant in any way, she's confident. She carries it well. She's cool."

Cooking aside, there's another passion the couple shares.

"She's got a nice voice, I like her voice," Zayn said after revealing they like to sing together. Could there be a Malik and Hadid duet in the pipeline? Fingers crossed.
