Also known as lunar rainbow, white rainbow or space rainbow, this phenomenon is caused by moonlight rather than sunlight. It is created by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets, forming the whole spectrum of light. It often appears near waterfalls on full-moon nights.
