Pinoy Shawols, as Minho's fans call themselves, had fun watching the 31-year-old South Korean performer as he took on Filipino-themed challenges during the fan meet.

One of the highlights was when he did his version of Sarah Geronimo's viral new single "Dati Dati" during the "Keyword Talk" part of the show.

Minho asked his fans to show him the original version of Sarah's choreography. A fan confidently stood up and obliged his request.

The K-Pop singer picked up some dance moves and then made his version of Sarah's latest song.

Minho was also asked to wear a traditional Barong Tagalog during the "Lucky Box" segment of his fan meet.

During his short chat with the fan meeting's emcee Sam Oh, Minho said it was his first time trying on traditional clothes from the Philippines and considered it a "meaningful" experience.

He said, "It's the first time I'm wearing Barong Tagalog, and knowing that this is such a meaningful clothing, I think it's also meaningful to me."

After trying on the Barong, fans got kilig while watching Minho dance the waltz-style Pinoy folk dance "Pandanggo" as part of his challenge.

FAN-MEET HIGHLIGHTS

The fan meet marked Minho's third time meeting his Filipino fans. His last visit to the country was almost six years ago for the 2017 Global Peace Concert One K.

Minho expressed his gratitude to Filipino Shawols who attended the event.

He told the audience, "The last time I came to the Philippines was so long ago and that time, together with SHINee, we were here.

"And finally, being here after a long time, is making my heart flutter."

The SM Entertainment talent later added, "I'm very glad that the first country that I get to visit after my first fan meet in Seoul is the Philippines.

"And of course, the title is Lucky Choi's, I hope you're all prepared and your luck has been brought today because we prepared a lot."

Minho also proudly revealed that prepared a lot for his first-ever solo fan meet.

For his opening number, he performed his 2022 single "Heartbreak" in front of his Filipino fans for the first time.

He also performed a medley of SHINee's recent song releases including "Atlantis," "Don't Call Me," "Kiss Kiss," and "CODE."

Fans waved their lightsticks tirelessly as Minho rocked the stage with his latest song "Chase." He ended the event by serenading fans with the 2019 song "I’m Home."
