ALBANY — Actress and gubernatorial wannabe Cynthia Nixon on Wednesday traded endorsements with Fordham Law Prof. and state attorney general Democratic primary candidate Zephyr Teachout.

“We are witnessing an incredible moment in New York politics,” Nixon said as she and Teachout stood in front of Trump Tower. “Voters are increasingly rejecting establishment Democrats in favor of bold progressives and transformative policy. “

“Zephyr was Nixon’s (campaign) treasurer — the only surprising thing about this is that it took so long,” said Cuomo campaign spokeswoman Abbey Collins.

Meanwhile, city Public Advocate Letitia James won the backing for her attorney general run from nine of New York’s Democratic congressional members despite one of their own, Hudson Valley Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, also being a candidate.

Maloney’s has accused James of running a campaign reliant on endorsement.

In addition to James, Teachout and Maloney, former Cuomo and Hillary Clinton aide Leecia Eve is also running in the four-way Sept. 13 Democratic primary for attorney general.
