Texas G Kerwin Roach II suspended for two scrimmages and season opener

The senior violated team rules last year.
When the Texas Longhorns participate in two preseason scrimmages and play the season opener on November 6 against the Eastern Illinois Panthers, head coach Shaka Smart’s team will be without senior guard Kerwin Roach II.
On Saturday, the school announced that Roach violated team rules last year, leading to his suspension.
Roach also issued a statement on Twitter apologizing for his actions:
