The Ilocos and Cordillera Administrative Regions, the Batanes, the Babuyan Islands, Zambales, and Bataan, would experience scattered moderate to heavy rain due to the southwest monsoon, weather service PAGASA predicted in a Sunday morning forecast.

The rest of Central Luzon and the Cagayan Valley Region could meanwhile expect cloudy conditions accompanied with scattered rain and thunderstorms, also due to the southwest monsoon.

The  rest of  the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers.

Winds would be  strong to gale force from the southwest over northern and Central  Luzon, where coastal waters would be rough to very rough.

Over the rest of Luzon, winds would be moderate to strong from the southwest with moderate to rough conditions over the surrounding seas.

Finally, winds over the Visayas and Mindanao would be light to moderate from the southwest with slight to moderate coastal waters. — DVM, GMA News
