Weather service PAGASA reported in a Sunday morning forecast that the typhoon internationally named Jebi, which had 205 kilometer per hour sustained winds and gusts of up to 255 kph, was 1,515 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes and still outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

However, Jebi was making its way northwest at 20 kph and was thus expected to enter the PAR later in the day.

But even before Jebi enters the PAR, the Calabarzon, Bicol, and Mimaropa Regions, as well as the entire Visayas, was already under the influence of the typhoon's trough and could thus expect cloudy conditions accompanied with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

The rest of  the county would meanwhile be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers.

Winds would be moderate to occasionally strong from the northwest to west over southern Luzon, where coastal waters would be moderate to occasionally rough.

Over the Visayas and Mindanao, winds would be moderate to occasionally strong from the southwest with moderate to occasionally rough conditions over the surrounding seas.

Finally, winds would be light to moderate from the northeast to northwest over the rest of Luzon, where coastal waters would be slight to moderate. — DVM, GMA News
