Some parts of Visayas and Mindanao are being affected by the tail-end of a cold front, according to PAGASA on Thursday.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers are expected in the Central and Eastern Visayas, and Caraga and Davao regions.

Meanwhile, the provinces of Aurora and Quezon in Luzon will likely experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and Visayas are also affected by Amihan; partly cloudy to cloudy skies with drizzles are expected.

Due to Amihan's surge, the state weather bureau raised a gale warning over the eastern seaboards of the country, specifically that of Catanduanes, Camarines provinces, Sorsogon, Northern and Eastern Samar, Surigao, Davao Oriental, Dinagat Islands, and Siargao.

Small seacrafts were advised not to venture out.

Meanwhile, the rest of Mindanao may only experience isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
