KUALA LUMPUR: The heated online quarrel between embittered Korean celebrity couple Ku Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun continues with both sides firing salvos at each other.

According to Soompi, Ahn, 32, was apparently planning to reveal the whole truth behind the controversy. An acquaintance of the actor said via Sports Chosun yesterday that, “Ahn Jae Hyun is feeling very wronged by Ku Hye Sun’s disclosure. He plans to reveal the complete text messages shared between the two that Ku Hye Sun previously revealed snippets of. He is consulting his legal representative and preparing to reveal everything in an official and detailed way. It will most likely happen within this week.”

The agency that represents the couple, HB Entertainment, also made a statement via Osen. It said: “We have nothing to say regarding the report about revealing the full mobile messenger conversation shared between Ahn Jae Hyun and Ku Hye Sun. Ahn Jae Hyun personally appointed his legal representative, and we have nothing to tell you as their agency.”

Ku, 34, later responded on Instagram with a post that seemed to refer to the development. She wrote: “I don’t use KakaoTalk~ Don’t make pointless preparations. You traitor.”

Meanwhile, Soompi also reported that cosmetics brand Merbliss will be removing all of their advertisements that feature Ahn due to the ongoing controversy.

The brand, of whom the actor has an endorsement deal as a model for two years, released a statement on the issue.

Part of it read: “As a brand with a wedding concept, Merbliss pursues love and happiness. When we first signed with Ahn Jae Hyun two years ago, we believed his image as a newlywed romanticist fit the direction our brand was pursuing.”

“We believe that the recent issue surrounding Ahn Jae Hyun and Ku Hye Sun’s controversial divorce is very different from what we pursue.”

“Therefore, from this moment on, we will halt all of our advertisements and content with Ahn Jae Hyun, and the advertisements and content that were uploaded previously will be deleted in consecutive order.”

The brand added later via Osen that: “Though there is still some time left until our contract with Ahn Jae Hyun expires, we will not ask him to compensate for the damages. We will only be deleting our content related to Ahn Jae Hyun.”
