'Aaaaand they're playing Mac Miller at the Ariana Grande concert,' one social media user wrote. 'Not emotional no no no not at all.'

Another said, 'Ariana Grande is playing Mac Miller right before her opening song for sweetener tour rn and my heart can’t handle it SO MANY TEARS.'

The Boca Raton, Florida native's first song in the concert was Raindrops - which many of her fans believe to be about Miller, who was 26 when he died last September following an overdose from alcohol, cocaine and fentanyl. The lyrics seemingly allude to death, with the verses: 'When raindrops fell down from the sky/The day you left me, an angel cried.'

With the Sweetener tour, Grande makes her first trek around North America - she's set to play 52 shows between the U.S. and Canada in the next four months - in the wake of the suicide bombing at her show at Manchester, England's Manchester Arena on May 22, 2017, which left 22 people dead and more than 800 injured.

Grande - who won her first Grammy last month for Best Pop Vocal Album (Sweetener) - has taken a number of actions to honor the late Pittsburgh native, who she had dated from September 2016 until their split last May.

Last year, Grande - who went on to a brief, whirlwind engagement with comedian Pete Davidson after her relationship with Miller - had a tattoo reworked in honor of Miller's dog Myron.

She also voiced her displeasure when Miller did not posthumously win the Best Rap Album Grammy for his album Swimming after Grammy officials had invited his parents, Karen Meyer and Mark McCormick, to the ceremony. (Miller was featured in the show's In Memoriam segment at the Grammys.)

In a series of tweets she subsequently deleted, Grande wrote the phrases 'literal b------,' 'trash' and 'f---,' adding, 'They invited Mac's parents out for basically no reason.'
