Tsoureki

Made of braided strands of dough, tsoureki is a sweet bread served in Greece. It is often flavored with two traditional Greek spices: mahlepi (made from the seeds of wild cherries) and mastic (resin from the mastic tree). Shaped either into a circle or into two large braids, it is decorated with red-dyed Easter eggs.
