Mean Mince

New kid on the Mutiara Damansara block, Mean Mince lets their burgers do the talking. Housemade and extremely juicy, the patty in the signature MM Burger (RM18), served with a sunny side up that’s sandwiched between two soft brioche buns, hits all the right spots. If you have a sweet tooth, don’t leave without gulping down a glass of Peanut Butter Milkshake (RM12) – gotta love that frosted glass it comes in!

SUMI Genshi-Yaki Sakeba

Plan your next Japanese meal at contemporary SUMI Genshi-Yaki Sakeba, which dishes out yakimono, sashimi and sushi rolls, all under one roof. We're fans of the crunchy Roasted Chicken Skin (RM8) and the big on flavour Roasted Miso Glazed Eggplant (RM10) that sports a sheen of melted cheese and miso.

Owned by the same people behind Pan & Tamper, new cafe Kettlebell shares the space with boutique gym Firestation in Mont Kiara. Swing by for a sweat sesh with healthy, delicious eats to follow! Burppler Alyssia Yu really enjoyed the protein-packed Quinoa Heaven (RM22) for its well-balanced flavours.

Look to this newbie for wood-fired fusion pizzas – think Kam Heong, Tom Yum and Pasembur toppings. We love how everything — dough, sauce and all — is homemade and how generous they are with the use of fresh ingredients. The Kam Heong Royale (RM38) is the house special that tastes just like the real deal, packing a fiery punch with the generous use of chilli padi! There’s also a dessert pizza, Sweet Pie (RM15), that comes topped with pandan lotus paste, Korean honey citron, green and red apples, and raisins.

Bar Trigona

This bar keeps things local, whether it’s their name (taken after Malaysian stingless bees) or their use of homegrown torch ginger flower and pandan leaves. You’re in good hands with head bartender Ashish Sharma (formerly of Manhattan Bar) on cocktail duty. For refreshing and citrusy flavours, the gin-based Nectar (RM45) is worth ordering.

Lisette’s Cafe & Bakery

What was formerly is now Lisette’s Cafe & Bakery. Owner Lisette Scheers takes a whole new approach to the eatery with an Asian-European menu featuring dishes like Mutton Curry (RM30) and Burattini & Petits Pois (RM37). The Tomato & Gruyere (RM15) makes for a great light lunch that pairs well with the fruity Iced Black (RM12). If you’re one for eating your fill, the lunch buffet (from RM30) every Tuesday and Friday, and the weekend breakfast buffets (from RM45), are not to be missed.
