Prince Luis’ Christening today marks the first time we’ve seen the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with their three royal tots since the baby’s birth.

Little 11-week-old Prince Louis was officially welcomed into the Church of England in an intimate ceremony at St James’ Palace this afternoon.

Louis’ great-grandparents Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, missed out on the service for unknown reasons.

Proud mum Catherine dazzled in a cream McQueen dress and a hat by Jane Taylor.

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan, wore olive green Ralph Lauren and a hat by Stephen Jones.

Auntie Pippa Middleton wore a sky blue dress with buttons.

As usual we waited with bated breath to see – not the Duchesses – but George and Charlotte, who didn’t disappoint.

Charlotte wore a sweet floral dress with a headband, while George was in navy shorts and a white shirt.

Prince Louis wore the handmade replica of the Royal Christening Robe, made by Dressmaker to The Queen Angela Kelly – the same gown worn by his older siblings Charlotte and George.

Following the service, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will give a private tea at Clarence House, where guests will be served slices of christening

The slices in fact come from a tier taken from The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding cake. We guess they freeze it down?

Meghan was also christened and confirmed in the Chapel Royal by the Archbishop, who also married the Suits star and Harry at Windsor.

Earlier Prince Louis’s six godparents, three godfathers and three godmothers, were announced by Kensington Palace.

Nicholas van Cutsem, Guy Pelly, Harry Aubrey-Fletcher, The Lady Laura Meade, Hannah Carter and Lucy Middleton will all be godparents to the little prince.
