Everybody has an outfit that is The One: formal but not so formal, in a cute color, and flattering as hell. The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, has the fashion world at her fingertips. But even she has her favorite looks, and for the Queen’s Garden Party, Duchess Kate pulled on a familiar ensemble.

This bespoke Christopher Kane coat-dress and matching (in shade) Lock & Co. hat are rendered in a beautiful seafoam color. Depending on the angle, it appears as a light blue or takes on a celadon sheen. The effect is gorgeous and perfect for the style brief of a spring garden party at Buckingham Palace.

Middleton has leaned on this outfit before. According to the style blog What Kate Wore, back in 2012, she wore just the Christopher Kane coat-dress to the opening ceremony of the London Olympic Games:

(Yes, that’s her with former first lady Michelle Obama.)

She also wore the coat-dress, along with the hat, during an Order of the Garter (a very fancy, very British) ceremony in 2014:

This Garden Party is actually part of a series of four, which will run through the spring and summer. Perhaps the Duchess will repeat some more favorite ensembles before the season is through
