PUCHONG: A woman received a rude shock when a python poked its head out of her toilet bowl at her home in Puchong Perdana here yesterday.

Malaysia Civil Defence Force (APM) Putrajaya chapter spokesman Major Ahmad Junaidi Dukut Soeharto said they received an emergency call about the unwelcome visitor at about 6.45am.

“Three APM personnel were deployed to the scene. When they arrived, the python had coiled itself around a pipe inside the bathroom,” he told the New Straits Times Press when contacted.

Ahmad Junaidi said it took the team managed to remove the reptile from the woman's residence within several minutes.

“The python is believed to have moved from its nest to the nearby home due to the uncertain weather,” he said.
