Singapore – Night Owl Cinematics has been making headlines after its co-founder Sylvia Chan was alleged to have verbally harassed their employees. Following the ongoing incident, it appears that the NOC office was listed for sale on a property site.

Shortly after the incident revolving around the 33-year-old Singaporean YouTuber, who has since apologised to her team on Wednesday (Oct 13), the company’s office was temporarily listed for sale for S$1.1 million on property site CommercialGuru.

The listing was for a 3,940 square foot space at North View Bizhub located at 6 Yishun Industrial Street 1.

Despite not specifically stating that it was NOC’s office or whether there is a connection between the allegations and listing, the address is an exact match of NOC’s registered address.

The listing also highlighted that the space was fully fitted and on the ground floor, another match to NOC’s office.

Furthermore, NOC posted a video in 2017 of its transfer to a bigger “3,939 square foot warehouse” office.

There were a couple of photos attached to the listing that resembled the interior design of the NOC office in its videos.

For example, here is the listed photo of the kitchen area with a clock icon covering the NOC logo.

According to Must Share News, NOC co-founder Ryan Tan was “surprised” when his staff informed him of the listing.

However, he said “there was really nothing for him to do,” as he has not been involved with NOC since May 2021.

Mr Tan said to MS News, “I heard rumours from property agents that NOC had listed their office for sale. But there are many unsubstantiated and mostly untrue rumours about NOC or me, and I would usually dismiss them.

So yes, I was surprised when one of my members of staff from Reno King sent me the listing. But I’ve not been involved in the company since May 2021, so there was really nothing for me to do. Also, I learnt about the listing during the ongoing controversy, and there were other things on my mind and people who I was, and continue to be, concerned about.

Just like many others out there, I am, naturally, sad about how things are turning out. I spent many good years in NOC, and I hope they pull through.”

Meanwhile, it appears that the listing has been removed and is inaccessible as of writing.
