To help self employed person tide through the difficult period, the government will set aside a sell employed person income relief scheme (SIRS).

Under this scheme, eligible self employed persons will receive S$1,000 a month for a total of 9 months.

The budget set aside for this is S$1.2 billion dollars.

Self employed person includes freelancers, taxi drivers, media and video freelancers.

More information will be shared via the Ministry of Manpower.
