Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed a move to Juventus after nine years at Real Madrid, the Spanish club have announced.

The Portuguese star, who scored 450 goals in 438 games for the club, leaves having won four Champions Leagues, two La Liga titles and four Ballon d’Ors during his time and the club.

Ronaldo, who along with Gareth Bale threw his future into question following the Champions League final win over Liverpool, will reportedly move for a fee of £105million.

The former Manchester United man has thwarted Juventus on more than one occasion, scoring an outstanding overhead kick on the way to knocking the Italians out of Europe last season.

In a statement, the Madrid said: “Today, Real Madrid wants to express its gratitude to a player who has proved to be the best in the world and who has marked one of the brightest times in the history of our club and world football.

“Beyond the conquered titles, the trophies achieved and the triumphs achieved in the playing fields during these 9 years, Cristiano Ronaldo has been an example of dedication, work, responsibility, talent and improvement.”
