Arsenal and Tottenham have both been linked with Sporting Lisbon's Gelson Martins.

The Portugal winger has started the process to rescind his contract with his club, which if it happens will allow him to move on a free transfer this summer.

And according to Jornal de Noticias (H/T Sport Witness) his agent, Ulisses Santos, is already working on a deal to bring him to the Premier League.

The Gunners reportedly recently made two €30million offers for the player.

Martins is currently at the World Cup with the Seleccao but his long-term future may well be in North London.

German international Leno has also been a target for Napoli but the keeper has made it clear he is ready to move to Arsenal.

Arsenal are in talks with Leverkusen and Leno’s representatives but are hopeful of getting a deal done as he has a £22m buy-out clause.

The World Cup may be on the horizon, but that hasn't slowed the transfer market down at all.

A number of big deals have already been completed and more look to be on the way as clubs remodel their squads, particularly those with new managers at the helm.

One of those squads is Arsenal, for whom Unai Emery has been busy as he looks to make his mark on the players left behind by the long-serving Arsene Wenger.

The Spanish coach has already brought in veteran defender Stephan Lichtsteiner, and it would appear as though midfielder Lucas Torreira could be next on his hit-list as he chases a deal for the Uruguayan.

And the Sampdoria man has got a fan in his fellow countryman Luis Suarez, who first noted the combative midfielder back in August 2016.
