Paul Pogba insists player power was not behind Jose Mourinho's sacking by Manchester United.

Mourinho was dismissed in December with the Red Devils well off the top four pace in the Premier League after a disappointing start to the season.

An anemic display in the 3-1 defeat to Liverpool was the final straw for club chiefs, who promptly dismissed the Portuguese and hired Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
